The shops featured here are good well established businesses, if you run a local or London golf shop and would like to advertise here let us know. Where are London's best shops for golfing equipment? Answer: (Thanks to the Telegraph) Regular visitors to Oxford Circus will already be acquainted with the sight of some poor soul holding a Golf Sale sign. Now all you need to do is follow the arrow pointing from the sign (it's a clue, you see) - and you’ll find yourself in Maddox Street. This is a world of putters, drivers and dandyish golfing outfits. And the staff are all pretty mean players, so are perfectly placed to dole out golfing advice. You could also try the Central London Golf Centre, where there’s a thoroughly decent shop, nice course and a driving range. You can even try clubs on the driving range before buying. But if you’re after the very best, a day trip to Surrey might be in order. Visit Silvermere, home to one of the best golf shops in the country. There’s an embarrassment of riches here, from top brands such as Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping and Titleist. Most importantly, it’s where the best golfers go, and is often spoken about with a knowing tap to the side of the nose.
